New national requirements for issuance and renewal of CoC

Dear Colleagues,

As You are probably aware, the amendments to the Regulation on ranks and certification of seafarers (Official Gazette of Montenegro number 44/2016) have been issued and entered into force on the 02.08.2016. These amendments introduce new requirements for the process of issuing and renewing all Certificates of Competence (CoC), regardless of department, officer and/or rating.

We are very pleased to inform You that Azalea Maritime Training Centre, Bijela fully complies to the new regulations and provides all the new and additional training modules, meeting and exceeding requirements, such as:

1. High Voltage - Management Level (required for Senior Engineer Officers (Chief Engineer / Second Engineer) for issuance and renewal of the CoC);
2. High Voltage - Operational Level (required for Junior Engineer Officers (Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch) for issuance and renewal of the CoC);
3. High Voltage for Electro-Technical Officers; and
4. Integrated Refresher Training (STCW Chapter VI - Emergency, Occupational safety, Medical care and Survival functions, required for renewal of each Certificate of Competence respectively)

The above mentioned training courses will provide seafarers with the essential knowledge and skills in order to meet the requirements of the proficiencies as set by STCW (2010 Manila Amendments) as well as Shipping Industry demands and expectations.

All candidates who would like to enroll and secure their training spot are welcome to use our promotional "early booking" service, where the 100% advance payment of the course fee will grant You 10% discount on the total course fee for High Voltage training.

For Integrated Refresher Training, being regulated and conducted for the first time in Montenegro, Azalea Maritime Training Centre announces a promotional time window from 01.08.2016. till 30.09.2016. with a promotional course fee and 15% discount for advance payment / booking.
