As a result of growing business development in the transport of natural gas (LNG), there is an increased demand in knowledge and 'hands on' training for understanding, managing, carrying and handling such delicate cargo and installations. Senior staff management of the CESM (China Energy Ship Management Co., Ltd.) from Hong Kong are attending the two weeks LNG Carrier Standard Training Course (SIGTTO approved) in Azalea Maritime Training Centre, and among six participants are Company General Manager, three Senior Superintendents and Tyler Stephens, who is preforming a financial research on a topic Financing options for natural gas transportation companies. Next to them are also two professors from the Shanghai and Dalian Maritime University who are servicing more than 30,000 students annually.

• 1 x Safety Officer (experience on offshore accommodation barges or passenger vessels required)
• 1 x Medic. (good English language knowledge and Minimum Dispensing Nurse Qualifications required)
• 1 x Helicopter Landing Officer Nigerian HLO (big MPN boss recommendation required)
• 2 x Plumber for Day / Night shift (continuous clearing of pipe blockages, leaks, etc. and other plumbing matters)

ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE PREVIOUS OFFSHORE BARGE EXPERIENCE. ALL CANDIDATES TO BE AWARE OF SOCIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS WITH CLIENTS ON BOARD – JUST LIKE A ON A PASSENGER LINER – AND MUST HAVE GOOD ENGLISH LANGUAGE KNOWLEDGE (BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN). DURING WORKING HOURS OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IS ENGLISH.

Azalea Maritime Training Centre proudly announces thatwe have added and now offering on the monthly basis the LNG carrier standard training course (Operational and Management Level). This training is taking into consideration not only the STCW guidelines and recommendation, but as well, industry guidelines, issued by organizations such as OCIMF and SIGTTO. In addition, course includes an explanation on fundamental knowledge of LNG, LNG carrier structure and operational skill of related equipment, as well as practical training in cargo handling using the LNG simulator.
