Azalea Maritime announces that on Friday, 31/01/2013, will start the preliminary selection of cadets for attending the different tests and interview with the representatives of Mitsui OSK Lines and Azalea Maritime BV, which will take place mid February.

During the month of December, Azalea Maritime Training Centre upgraded, both hardware and software, its navigational and engine room simulators. The latest versions of TransasNavi Trainer Professional 5000 and Transas ERS 5000 were installed and tested, which represents the next step in the maritime training simulations. The exceptional power of the software built into these simulators allows training in different aspects of seamanship to be emphasized within the same configuration of standard module-based simulator software and hardware.

The new liquid cargo handling simulator (LCHS) has been set up in Azalea Maritime Training Centre. Subject simulator has been developed by the Company L3 (United Kingdom) in co-operation with Warsash Maritime Academy, and provides the best training solution available to the liquid cargo handling industry, both ashore and afloat, engaged in the handling of bulk liquids including Chemicals, Oils and Liquefied Gases (Chemical Gases, LPG & LNG). In addition, the Transas liquid cargo handling simulator has been upgraded, which now includes visualization and terminal operations, for the purpose of more extensive offer towards our clients.

Azalea Maritime announces that the interview and testing of the new cadet candidates has been completed on the 10th and 11th of December, 2012. Candidates for potential employment will be informed accordingly upon receiving the test results.
